This Privacy Policy describes how Doodle Dance ("the App"), developed by Vishal Kumar Chaubey, handles your information. The App turns your drawings into animations on your own device. It has no accounts and no servers of its own. It is free and shows ads from Google AdMob, which is the only part of the App that sends data off the device.
The developer does not collect, receive or store any of your personal information. Your drawings, photos, skeletons and dances are never uploaded to the developer or to any server. The App has no sign-up, no analytics service and no crash-reporting service of its own.
Everything you create is processed on your device: finding the character in a photo, placing its skeleton and rendering each dance. Your drawings, their joints and their dances are saved as files in the App's private storage, listed in a local SQLite database. This data is not readable by other apps and is not accessible to the developer.
Camera access is optional and is requested only when you choose to take a photo of a drawing on paper. Photo library access is requested only when you choose a drawing photo from your library, or when you tap Save to Photos to save a dance video. The App takes photos only, never video, and does not request microphone access. No photo is uploaded anywhere, and the App never reads your photo library on its own.
The App shows banner and full-screen ads from Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android), your IP address and an approximate location derived from it, information about ad interactions, and diagnostic data such as crash and performance information. This data is collected and handled by Google under the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and is not shared with the developer. Ads are limited to content suitable for a general audience.
Where the law requires it, for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the App shows Google's consent form before any ad is requested. On iOS, the App then asks for permission to track through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. Ads are personalized only when you allow it; otherwise you see non-personalized ads. You can change your consent at any time from Privacy choices in the App's gallery, and on iOS you can turn tracking off under Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. On Android you can reset or delete your Advertising ID in the system settings.
When you tap Share, Download or Save to Photos, the App creates a video or GIF of that one dance and hands it to the destination you choose, such as your photo library or another app. From that point the privacy policy of the app you chose applies. The App never shares anything unless you ask it to.
The App is designed for a general audience and is not directed at children under the age of 13. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us and we will help you remove it.
Deleting a drawing in the App's gallery removes the drawing and all of its dances from the device. Uninstalling the App removes its database and every file it stored. Videos you saved to Photos or shared with other apps are not affected, because they are yours to keep or delete. To control the data Google holds for advertising, use the ad choices described above.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any change is published on this page with an updated effective date at the top, and the current version always applies to the current release of the App.
