Notemint - Sticky Notes — Effective Date: October 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Notemint - Sticky Notes ("the App"), developed by Vishal Kumar Chaubey, handles your information. The App is built so that there is nothing to collect: it works entirely on your Mac.
The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. There are no accounts to create, no sign-in, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no advertising. The App contains no networking code at all, so nothing you type can be sent anywhere.
Your notes and your saved colours are stored on your own Mac, inside the App's sandbox container at ~/Library/Containers/com.notemint/Data/Library/Application Support/Notemint/, as the plain JSON files notes.json and colors.json. They are readable only by you and by the App, they are safe to back up, and deleting the App removes them along with its container.
The App runs inside Apple's App Sandbox with the hardened runtime enabled. It has no permission to reach the network, your camera, your microphone, your contacts, your location, or any file outside its own container, and it asks for no permissions while you use it.
The App does not use iCloud and does not sync your notes between devices. Notes stay on the Mac they were written on. If the notes files are included in a Time Machine or other backup you have set up yourself, that backup is governed by whatever service you chose for it.
The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. Because it collects and transmits no personal data from any user, it is inherently compliant with children's privacy regulations.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any change is published on this page with an updated effective date at the top, and the current version always applies to the current release of the App.
