Privacy Policy

PageBundle — Effective Date: May 26, 2026

Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how PageBundle ("the Extension"), developed by Vishal Kumar Chaubey, handles your information. PageBundle is a Chrome extension that crawls a website chosen by the user, captures each page as a PDF, and bundles those PDFs into a single ZIP archive — all locally in the user's browser.

What Data We Collect

We collect nothing. PageBundle does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information, web browsing history, credentials, location, or website content. All crawling, screenshotting, PDF generation, and ZIP creation happens entirely on the user's local device.

What the Extension Processes Locally

PageBundle processes the following data only on your device and never transmits it anywhere: (1) The URL of the tab you are currently on, used as the crawl starting point. (2) The HTML, links, titles, and rendered visuals of pages you explicitly chose to capture. These are converted to PDFs inside your browser and packaged into a ZIP that you download to your own computer. Once the ZIP is downloaded, the in-memory data is discarded.

Third Parties

PageBundle makes no network requests of its own to any third-party service. The bundled library (JSZip) runs locally and does not phone home. There are no analytics, no telemetry, no usage tracking, and no advertising.

Permissions Justification

PageBundle requests the following Chrome permissions strictly to perform its single purpose: activeTab and tabs to open and close the temporary tabs used to capture each page; scripting, debugger, and host_permissions <all_urls> to render each capture tab and use Chrome's print-to-PDF engine. These permissions are used only on websites the user explicitly asked PageBundle to capture.

Remote Code

All JavaScript executed by PageBundle, including the bundled JSZip library, is shipped inside the extension package. There are no remote script tags, no eval calls, and no dynamic imports of remote modules. Every line of code that runs is included in the extension at submission time.

Data Selling and Transfer

We do not sell or transfer user data to third parties. We do not use or transfer user data for purposes unrelated to PageBundle's single purpose. We do not use or transfer user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes. The extension makes zero network requests of its own.

Children's Privacy

The Extension does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since PageBundle does not collect personal data from any user, it is inherently compliant with children's privacy regulations.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
